This is not a ‘get rich quick scheme’. We believe that martial arts should be available for everyone and not cost prohibitive.
We are offering the opportunity to train in martial arts for a nominal fee to cover venue hire etc. We ask for £5 per session as we are not a franchise or looking for a profit.
Clothing and personal protective equipment can be purchased from wherever you choose, we just ask it is in good condition and clothing is in club colours (Black or Black and Red). Our own T-Shirts are available to purchase should you wish. Examples of training kit are:
***Personal protective equipment is mandatory for those wishing to participate in competitions and tournaments and sparring in club. Due to different Open Competitions having different regulations, it is not possible to list all required items but for an example, see Club Sparring and WKO competition equipment
Squad kit will be finalised and made available should you wish to represent us at local or National Tournaments.
The only school / club fees payable will be an annual membership fee of £20 which covers student licencing with the CMAA and BMABA and insurance (includes a physical licence and grading record book and access to the BMABA student portal).
Additional personal injury insurance of £100 to £200/week, is available for an additional cost – POA
Gradings
Venue hire, grade registration, certificate and belt fees will apply but costs will be kept to an absolute minimum.
Personal payment arrangements to cover fees can be discussed privately.
