Our Instructors
All of our instructors hold recognised qualifications, enhanced DBS checks, safeguarding training, first aid certificates, and full insurance.
Lead instructor is Shihan David Hitchman who has 40 years experience in martial arts and holds several blackbelts in differing styles of martial arts including 6th Dan in Freestyle Karate and Freestyle Kickboxing and 2nd Dan in Shotokan Karate. Gōdō Martial Arts is a professionally run martial arts club specialising in karate and semicontact kickboxing. We provide structured, age‑appropriate training for children, teenagers, and adults, with a strong focus on safety, controlled sparring, fitness, confidence, and respect.
At Gōdō Martial Arts, we are dedicated to developing confident, disciplined, and skilled martial artists in a supportive and respectful environment.

We offer private tuition only at the moment but will be looking to open a venue in Liss, Hampshire very soon.
